Lahinch Golf Club
Just a short stroll from Lahinch Coast Hotel, Lahinch Golf Club is one of Ireland's most renowned links courses. Founded in 1892, its Old Course winds through spectacular sand dunes overlooking the Atlantic and has a long history of hosting major amateur and professional events. It hosted the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open in 2019, and in September 2026 will welcome the Walker Cup, when the USA and Great Britain & Ireland compete over the famous Lahinch links on 5th–6th September.
Trump International Golf Links
Around 25 minutes from Lahinch Coast Hotel, Trump International Golf Links Ireland in Doonbeg offers a spectacular 18-hole links experience along the Clare coastline. The par-72 course stretches through dramatic sand dunes, with views of the Atlantic.
The course will take centre stage in September 2026 when it hosts the Amgen Irish Open from 10–13 September, bringing many of the world's leading professional golfers to County Clare.
