Every September, the small North Clare town of Lisdoonvarna comes alive for its famous Matchmaking Festival. With a tradition stretching back more than 160 years, the month-long festival brings together live music, dancing, entertainment and the chance to meet Ireland’s traditional matchmaker, Willie Daly.
