Michael Cusack Centre
The Michael Cusack Centre is located in the heart of the Burren region just 1km from Carron village and 30 minutes from Lahinch Coast Hotel.
The exhibition centre is dedicated to the memory of the legendary Gaelic Athletic Association founder, Michael Cusack. Discover Michael's remarkabale story through an audio visual exhibition set in the original thatched cottage where he was born in 1847, during the famine years.
Enjoy a guided tour of the exhibition centre and afterwards relax in the Carron Tea Room, a cosy spot located in the centre while enjoying some delicious local produce in spectacular surroundings. The Gift Store offers a range of mometos for all ages.
A visit to the Michael Cusack Centre in the Burren is a must for all those visiting the North Clare region and especially for any GAA fans.
The centre is open from April 1st to October 31st from 10am to 5pm. The first tour starts at 10am.
